Description

Tom Tierney gave us many paper doll books through Dover publishing.  They are beautifully done on heavy gloss cardstock.  Tierney's thorough research of each book subject, made these great fun and educational tools.  He did "Great Fashion Designs of the Fifties" in 1985.  This book has 2 models from the 1950s era and 30 gorgeous costumes for them, along with a description of each.  These books are great for fashion designers looking for education or just paper doll enthusiasts who like good art!!!  The entire book is not shown.
All of the paper dolls and other items that I offer are from estates, other homes or purchased here on eBay.  I don't know the environments they have been stored in.  My books are kept in a smoke/pet free area of my home with a dehumidifier running 24/7.  I have a poor sense of smell at my age and am unable to detect odors.  These could have come from a smoking home, so that could linger and I would not be aware of it. I try and list all flaws for the paper doll sets that I sell.
