VTG PAPER DOLLS 1965 TAMMY WARDROBE ORIGINAL WHITMAN #4620 LOTS UNCUT!!! barbie

"Tammy's Closet Full of Clothes ", Whitman #4620 was published in 1965.  This is one of about 10 rare sets that Whitman did in an odd shaped box from 1960 to 1965. These were mostly Barbie, Tammy and TV show stars. The boxes didn't have lids, they came wrapped in cellophane.  The sets are the punch out type, a heavy cardboard doll and a plastic stand.  ALL of these Whitman #4600 half box series paper dolls are very valuable and highly collectible!!!
The doll is in good condition but has a crease at the back of the knees that can't be seen on the front.  I replaced the stand and it works fine.  There are a lot of outfits that are unpunched and many that were are included.  This set is not complete but close to it. The half box did not come with this when I bought it.  Overall, this is a rare and highly collectable set of paper dolls.  As a child, I always put Tammy in the same group as Barbie, making her a neighbor for Barbie's family and friends.
All of the paper dolls that I offer were purchased from estates or on eBay.  I don't know the previous storage history.  My collection is kept in a smoke/pet free area of my home with a dehumidifier running 24/7.  I have a poor sense of smell at my age and am unable to detect odors.  People smoked way back when, so that could linger and I would not be aware of it.  I try and list all of the flaws with any paper dolls that I sell.
