Description

Antique "Betty Bonnet's Sister's Baby" Paper Dolls October 1916 from Ladies Home Journal Magazine Cut Outs by Sheila Young. This cute little baby paperdoll and her nurse have such life-like faces! Paper Dolls and clothes colors are still so nice and bright for all of the items. They are in very good to excellent vintage condition, for their advanced age of over 100 years! The beautiful baby crib has a small bend on one side from being stored in the envelope. The Little Baby doll measures approximately 3.5" tall and the nurse measures 6.75" tall. Included is the two paper dolls and 9 pieces of clothing and accessories.
Also included is the antique fragile brown envelope that the dolls and their clothing came in, which they had been stored in for over 100 years. I tried to open the envelope carefully to remove them, but part of it fell apart. The original owner has written a name in the corner which says "Mrs. Nathaline". The owner's initials are on the bottom right front corner. I am thinking that she was naming the paperdolls after possible relatives or people that she knew.
I acquired a large collection of these Betty Bonnet & Lettie Lane paper dolls in their original envelopes with the surname of "Moore" written on most of them.
Paper doll and antique fashions are deal for Collectors, Altered Art, Crafts, Scrapbooks, Mixed Media, Junk Journals, Smash Books etc. They could also be displayed with other 1910's Paper Dolls of the Era. This is a true vintage time capsule!
The uses are endless for these great 1910's Paper Doll Ephemera! Items come from a smoke-free home. A nice addition to any Antique Paper Doll Collection or for Paper Crafts!
