McCormick Country Gravy Mix makes lightly peppered gravy you can feel good about serving your family. Enjoy this creamy gravy over home-cooked biscuits, chicken fried steak, fried chicken or home fries. Also a great base for sausage gravy and chip beef gravy.

Makes 2 cups.
You Will Need
1 pkg. McCormick® Original Country Gravy Mix
2 cups cold water
Directions
1. STIR water gradually into Gravy Mix with whisk in medium saucepan.
2. STIRRING frequently, cook on medium heat until gravy comes to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute. (Gravy will thicken upon standing.)
Microwave Directions: Stir water into Gravy Mix in 2-quart microwavable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 4 to 6 minutes or until thickened, stirring after each minute. Microwave ovens vary; cook time is approximate.
For Creamier Gravy: Use 1 cup water and 1 cup milk.
