1950 WHITMAN PUBLISHING “A WOOD DOLL THIS IS MARGIE” #4100 A TEKWOOD DOLL
I have been working on liquidating my late sisters collections and many of you who
have been following my listings and I wish to THANK YOU, ALL!!   I HAVE FUN SEARCHING THROUGH ALL OF HER INTERESTING FINDS! This paper doll set is a 1950 release from Whitman Publishing.
Meet MARGIE WHO IS ONE OF THE TEKWOOD DOLLS MADE BY WHITMAN IN 1950.   Other dolls that can that can be found from this series are MARGIE'S PALS: BETTY & SANDY.  THIS PARTICULAR SET IS NUMBERED 4100.  MARGIE comes also with a wardrobe of very YOUNG LADY STYLE FASHIONS LOOKING VERY SOPHISTICATED.  BETTY is a 9 1/4-inch tall doll that is in perfect condition and comes with her original plastic stand.  The plastic stand does have a crack in it.  The original box for the set has only some slight wear.  CLOTHING IN THIS SET IS UNCUT.
